Tahini Dip recipe (ताहीनी डीप)

Lebanese cuisine is incomplete without this roasted sesame seed paste, which is used to make salad dressings, dips and sauces. Here it is combined with curds to create a unique bitter-sour product.

Yield: Makes 1 cup

1 cup hung curd , whisked (बंधा हुआ दहीं)
2 tbsp sesame seeds (तील)
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice (नीम्बु का रस)
2 tbsp olive oil (तेल)
3 clove garlic (लेहसुन)
salt , to taste (नमक)

Method :
1. Roast the sesame seeds in a non-stick tava (griddle) on a medium flame for a few seconds, stirring continously.
2. Allow it to cool completely and transfer to a bowl. Add the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt.
3. Blend in a mixer to a smooth paste. Keep aside.
